June 2025 – BPRAG Booth at the RI Convention, Calgary, Canada

Blindness Prevention Rotary Action Group (BPRAG) organized a booth at the Rotary International Convention, Calgary, Canada in June 2025. BPRAG members volunteered their time to the booth and provided information about the BPRAG to the visiting delegates.

Blindness Prevention Rotary Action Group Board Member Ann Evans is featured on the Seva.org poster. The caption says “Seva Foundation co-founder Dr Larry Brilliant with Ann Evans, Major Gift Initiative Advisor on Health to The Rotary Foundation at Larry’s birthday benefit for Seva in 2024.”

200 Free Cataract Surgeries Restore Sight and Transform Live

The Blindness Prevention Rotary Action Group (BPRAG), in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Sheikhupura Aarzoo, PARADISE, Pak Development Organization, Lon-Helen Welfare Society, and Al-Rehman Eye Hospital, successfully organized a project to provide 200 free cataract surgeries for deserving patients suffering from avoidable blindness and visual impairment.
Under this initiative, all beneficiaries received comprehensive eye care services at no cost, including pre-operative examination, A-scan (ocular ultrasound), biometry, phacoemulsification cataract surgery, post-operative medications, and high-quality foldable intraocular lenses (IOLs).
BPRAG extends its sincere appreciation to all partner organizations, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and donors whose support made this life-changing initiative possible.
